Janice is survived by her children, Lisa Simpson of Louisiana, Roger (Lori) Stickford of Nashville, and Kenny (Amor) Stickford of Bloomington; stepchildren, David Allison, Leslie Allison and Stephanie (Mark) Wogerman, all of Kokomo, and Ann (Ron) Worley of Georgia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son, Lyle Burns; and her husband, John Allison.The Rev. Ed Tharpe will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 5, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown.Friends can call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the funeral home.Burial will be in Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville.Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Janice to the Brown County Humane Society, P.O. Water Main Breaks On Route 35 In Yorktown - Yorktown Daily Voice

Y. -- A water main break on Route 35 near Clark Funeral Home on Thursday has caused service to be temporarily interrupted, according to the Town of Yorktown. The Water Department staff is currently working on the repair and will restore service as soon as possible, the town said If anyone experiences discolored water and/or air in the pipes run the cold water until it clears, the town said.

West Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness.Carl Martin Green, 89, of Neosho, Missouri, died on Dec. 28, 2016 at West Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness. Carl was born Aug. 14, 1927 in Morgan, MO and grew up in that area. He attended school at Conway, MO, where he graduated in 1945. Carl was a starting guard for Conway’s basketball team that won the Missouri state basketball championship in 1945. After graduation, Carl served in the military for two years at Fort Lewis in Freeman Washington state. Carl married Edna Marie Deckard on June 24, 1950 in Lebanon, MO. Edna preceded him in death just eight months ago on April 13, 2016. Carl moved to Neosho in 1958 and began working for Rocketdyne, building rocket engines for the space program. He retired from Teledyne in Neosho in 1987 and enjoyed 29 years of retirement. He loved fishing, golfing and sports of all kinds. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and watched them faithfully on TV. He taught Sunday school for many, many years and read his bible daily. Carl loved the Lord and looked forward to the day when he would see Him face to face and also to be re-united with his beloved wife of 65 years, Edna. Carl is survived by three sons, Mike Green and wife Pam of Republic; Brent Green and wife, Brenda of Springfield and Bart Green and wife, Catherine of Naperville, ILL; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. Terry Swagerty will officiate. Graveside and committal services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Roper Cemetery in Morgan, MO. Grandchildren Stephanie Green, Chris Green, Carl Green, Rachelle Vaughn, Sarah Green and Alexandra Green will be honorary pallbearers. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Thursday from 1-5 p.m. The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. until service time on Friday.
